First days in Račice.

On Monday July 20^th, the acreditation center was opened in Račice and by Wednesday afternoon all 57 registered countries had arrived. Training started on Sunday 19^th.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the FISA representatives arrived to Račice including the General Secretary Matt Smith. Members of international JURY have also arrived to Račice.

Instalation of the technical staff as well as data networks continued and the space for FISA , JURY , Czech organization team, information and copy center was prepaired.
Information boards with updated information about the weather, schedules, transportation and events can be found everywhere in the Sportcenter including in the hotels.

Members of the national teams are able to use the Exchange office, post office and transportation information center. For those who are interested, souveniers are also available.

In cooperation with the Swisstiming team, the networks and connections are being checked, which is necessary for the JURY and judges to be able to work. On Wednesday the JURY and judges performed practice start and inspection of the equipment.

A meeting was held for the FISA , organization staff, and also Team Managers.

On Wednesday the 22^nd of July, all the necessary issues involving the Championship were finalised. Openning ceremonies for the World Rowing U23 Championship 2009 will start in front of main tribune at 18:00.

The press center will be opened on Thursday morning. There are allready 50 members of the press registered.
